Reconstruction Saint Michels Altar by P.P.Rubens
Playing the Past built an hypothetical reconstruction of the Rubens Altar from the lost Saint Michels aby in Antwerp for the KMSKA. The geometry of the church is very simple compared to the altar and the statues, which are very complex and detailed. The music is composed by Gregorio Allegri.
Groeninge Museum in Bruges
The Groeninge Museum in Bruges was completely rebuilt and can be visited in an interactive 3D environment. The visitor can walk around, look at the paintings, see more information about the paintings and even walk into one of the paintings (Serenite by Delvaux)
The hofkamer in ‘de Wolsack’
The Hofkamer has a famous painting on the ceiling which shows the Olympus and the Greek gods. Playing the Past made an interactive version where the visitor floats through the sky and the clouds and hears more information about the characters on the painting.
The stories told in this presentation were written and recorded by Sigrid Spruyt, godmother of the Hofkamer.
